In the first series, after being involved in a coach accident, Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams) is invited to visit the seaside village of Sanditon by the industrious Parker family, who are hoping to transform the sleepy village into a modern resort. Upon her arrival, Charlotte meets a number of curious locals, whose behaviour she is unaccustomed to, and several potential suitors, including Sidney Parker (Theo James), with whom she quickly clashes.<br/><br/>In the second series, Charlotte returns to Sanditon eight months after her original visit, this time accompanied by her sister Alison (Rosie Graham). A regiment of soldiers arrive in town which brings both romantic and business opportunities, and artist Charles Lockhart (Alexander Vlahos) tries to woo Georgiana (Crystal Clarke). Meanwhile Charlotte starts a new job as a governess for Alexander Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes) and struggles to gain the respect of his daughter and niece.<br/><br/>In the third series, Charlotte once again returns to Sanditon, this time with her fiancé, Ralph Starling (Cai Brigden), but she struggles with her feelings for Mr Colbourne when they are reunited. A blunder forces D'Artagnan into the path of the Three Musketeers: Athos (Vincent Cassel), Porthos (Pio Marmaï) and Aramis (Romain Duris), who challenge him to a duel. Impressed by D'Artagnan's talents, the Musketeers befriend him, and he is soon swept up in the adventures of the trio, putting his fighting skills to use when he is tasked with protecting Queen Anne (Vicky Krieps) from a scheme which threatens to see her accused of treason and meet her untimely demise. In 'The Three Musketeers: Milady' (2023), when his beloved Constance (Lyna Khoudri) is kidnapped, D'Artagnan sets out to rescue her and cautiously joins forces with Milady de Winter (Eva Green). Meanwhile a group of conspirators seek to plunge France into civil war and dethrone Louis XIII, meaning Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis must fight alongside D'Artagnan to save their king and country once again.
