Roxettes historia fick ett tragiskt slut 2019, då Marie gick bort. Under de följande åren vacklade Per fram och tillbaka gällande vad han skulle göra härnäst. Marie är oersättlig, men han ville också hylla hennes liv och den musikaliska skatt hon lämnat efter sig med de fans som gjort deras resa till vad den varit. Han valde till slut att återförena Roxettes klassiska liveband - Jonas Isacsson, Clarence Öfwerman, Magnus Börjeson Christoffer Lundquist , Helena Josefsson och Dea Norberg.<br/><br/>Denna nya era inleds med att PG Roxette släpper sin debutsingel, 'The Loneliest Girl In The World' tillsammans med låtens officiella video. Låten är det första smakprovet från det kommande albumet 'Pop-Up Dynamo!', som följer i september.<br/><br/>'The Loneliest Girl In The World' känns som ett naturligt nästa steg för Per Gessle. Med dess sprudlande energi, den starka melodin och gruppens beroendeframkallande "don't bore us, get to the chorus"-attityd, är det en låt som skulle sitta bekvämt var som helst i gruppens mustiga backkatalog. Vare sig man ser det som den poppigaste rocken, eller pop med lite rock-edge, går det inte att ta miste på att det är Roxette.<br/><br/>Per: "Jag hade väldigt kul när vi gjorde de här inspelningarna. Jag försökte verkligen gå tillbaka till det sätt att skriva på som jag hade i tidiga Roxette och det var enormt roligt Vissa av de här låtarna tillhör de bästa jag har skrivit och att arbeta med alla mina Roxette-vänner igen var fantastiskt.<br/>Vi sitter ihop som lim".
