The 'Let It Be' album has been newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround DTS, and Dolby Atmos. All the new 'Let It Be' releases feature the new stereo mix of the album as guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector and sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes. The Super Deluxe collections also feature 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track 'Let It Be' EP, and the never before released 14-track 'Get Back' stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969. 1967-1974 is a 10CD box set that celebrates 50 years since the eponymous debut album of British blues/rock band Ten Years After. This collection gathers long-players from the Chrysalis and Deram eras and includes eight studio albums, one live album and a bonus disc of never before heard recordings from 1972 called The Cap Ferrat Sessions, which has been newly mixed by Chris Kimsey. All the albums have been remastered from the original quarter-inch production master tapes. <br/><br/>The unreleased - The Cap Ferrat Sessions - exists thanks to Alvin Lee's widow, who discovered a box of recordings in their house in Spain. Chris Kimsey recorded and engineered the original recordings during The Rock N Roll Music To The World album sessions. Kimsey: These re-discovered recordings were not rough demos, not rehearsals, but completed masters that did not make the album due to the time limitations of vinyl at the time. <br/><br/>This is a revised package of the previously available, but sold out, book version comes in a clamshell case with a perfect bound booklet featuring extensive sleeve notes by Chris Welch and interviews with the remaining band members, Alvin Lee's family, as well as additional recording notes by Kimsey. The 10CDs are housed in individual album CD wallets.

The Columbia Albums 1976-1982 anthologizes the Jaco Pastorius era of Weather Report. Black Market (1976), Heavy Weather (1977), Mr. Gone (1978), 8:30 (1979), Night Passage (1980), and Weather Report (1982) are packaged in Clamshell Box with wallets. Each disc features reproduced front and back artwork. As detailed by liner notes author Richard Seidel, the box contains 12 bonus tracks, including all the cuts from the 2002 compilation Live and Unreleased that feature Pastorius, as well as material from the 1979 Havana Jam. The 20-page booklet also features full track-by-track credits and session data.

What turned out to be Elvis Presley's final Nashville session brought music that was originally overlooked. The original recordings found their way on the holiday themed Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas (1971), the gospel He Touched Me (1972), Elvis Now (1972) and Elvis (1973). Yet, to hear this music, a half century after it was recorded - now wiped of overdubs - reveals some of the most compelling singing of Presley's career. There may not be a better set of tracks in his catalog that benefits more from un-dubbing the masters. No longer weighted down, Elvis shines.
