Script For A Jester's Tear was Marillion debut studio album originally released on 13 March 1983, reaching number seven in the UK Albums Chart (eventually achieving a platinum status) and produced the two Top 40 singles He Knows You Know (35) and Garden Party (16).<br/><br/>Formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1979, the band went through several personnel changes before recording their debut album. Having attracted attention with a three-track session for the Friday Rock Show they were signed by EMI Records releasing their first single, Market Square Heroes, in October 1982 with their debut album Script For A Jester's Tear following a few months later after their second single He Knows You Know.<br/><br/>The CD version will have the same audio across 4CD plus a bonus Blu-Ray featuring "The Script Interviews" a wonderful documentary covering the formation of the band through to the release of Script For A Jester's Tear in their own words.

Legendary drummer, Mick Fleetwood enlisted an all-star cast for a one-of-a-kind concert honouring the early years of Fleetwood Mac and its founder, Peter Green which was held on 25th February 2020 at the London, Palladium. The bill included Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey, Steven Tyler, Bill Wyman, Noel Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Neil Finn, Kirk Hammett and Jeremy Spencer. Legendary producer Glyn Johns joined as the executive sound producer and the house band featured Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, Rick Vito, Jonny Lang and Ricky Peterson.<br/><br/>Fleetwood, who curated the list of artists performing, said: "The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it's important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. I am honoured to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician. 'Then Play On'..."

Samtidigt som vi nås av beskedet att Keith Jarretts karriär är slut kommer ett album med en av hans stora solokonserter. Det har varit relativt tyst om Jarrett de senaste två åren; anledningen visar sig nu vara att han drabbats av stroke med en mer eller mindre förlamad högerarm som följd. Jarrett räknar inte med att han ska kunna använda den till mycket annat än att lyfta en kaffekopp med, och det efter mycket träning.<br/><br/>Nu är det ju tack och lov så att ECM med all sannolikhet ligger på en hel rad outgivna inspelningar, så vi lär under överskådlig framtid kunna se fram mot nya Jarrett-utgåvor. Förra året kom dubbelalbumet Munich 2016, inspelat den 16 juli det året. Tretton dagar tidigare hade Jarrett gästat Budapest, och nu är det dags för Budapest Concerto, även det ett dubbelalbum. Att spela i Budapest, därtill i Béla Bartók-salen, betydde något speciellt för Jarrett som har ungerska rötter på sin mormors sida och levt med Bartóks musik sedan barnsben. Han sätter också konserten i Budapest högre än den i München och talar om den som "Gold Standard". Vilken av de två som är bäst kan man tvista om så länge man vill och finner det meningsfullt. Jag nöjer mig med att säga att båda håller absolut toppklass. Eller är det trots allt så att guldhalten i Budapest är en karat högre än i München?<br/><br/><br/>Foto: Rose Anne Colavito (ECM)<br/><br/>Jarretts solokonserter brukar hamna i facket jazz. Samtidigt är det helt uppenbart hur påverkad han är av sitt långvariga och intima umgänge med den klassiska musiken. På sitt sätt kan man säga att han väckt liv i en avdöd tradition av improviserande klassiska pianister. Det är också tydligt hur ett modernistiskt tonspråk allt mer kommit att prägla hans spel.<br/><br/>Men det är just gränslösheten som är Jarretts adelsmärke, förmågan att i samma konsert växla mellan melodisk ballad och och intrikat rytmik, vaggsång och brutalism, bluesig och svängig jazz, etyd och toccata. På Budapestkonserten smyger det sig också in några mer orientaliska tongångar. Av allt detta lyckas han dessutom skapa något slags storstruktur, där alla bitar faller på plats och skapar en sammanhållen konsert. Det är grymt imponerande.<br/><br/>Precis som i München avslutar han med de delikata extranumren "Answer Me, My Love" och "It's A Lonesome Old Town", men i omvänd ordning mot då. May 15, 2020 (Los Angeles, CA)- Roughly forty-six years after its original recording, Neil Young announces the release of one his most storied and sought-after albums ever, Homegrown. <br/><br/>Often referred to by fans as one of Young's mysterious, great "lost albums," the twelve studio tracks will be released on all formats on June 19th, via Reprise Records.<br/><br/>Neil Young describes Homegrown as "The One That Got Away," and posted the following letter on Neil Young Archives below:<br/><br/>"I apologize. This album Homegrown should have been there for you a couple of years after Harvest. It's the sad side of a love affair. The damage done. The heartache. I just couldn't listen to it. I wanted to move on. So I kept it to myself, hidden away in the vault, on the shelf, in the back of my mind....but I should have shared it. It's actually beautiful. That's why I made it in the first place. Sometimes life hurts. You know what I mean. This is the one that got away. <br/><br/>Recorded in analog in 1974 and early 1975, Homegrown was mixed at that time to original stereo analog master tapes. These original mixes have been restored with love and care by John Hanlon, and mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, making Homegrown a completely original album.<br/><br/>Levon Helm is drumming on some tracks, Karl T Himmel on others, Emmylou Harris singing on one, Robbie Robertson plays on one. Homegrown contains a narration, several acoustic solo songs never even published or heard until this release and some great songs played with a band of my friends, including Ben Keith - steel and slide - Tim Drummond - bass and Stan Szelest - piano. Anyway, it's coming your way in 2020, the first release from our archive in this new decade. Come with us into 2020 as we bring you the past." - Neil Young<br/><br/>Neil Young puts it best, "This album is the unheard bridge between Harvest and Comes A Time." Recorded between June 1974 and January 1975, Homegrown was intended to come out in 1975 before Young cancelled the release. The album has remained unreleased until now, achieving a legendary status among Neil Young fans in the process.<br/><br/>The album is made up of twelve Neil Young songs, of which seven are previously unreleased - "Separate Ways," "Try," "Mexico," "Kansas," "We Don't Smoke It No More," "Vacancy"and "Florida" (a spoken word narration). Also included are the very first recordings of "Homegrown"and "White Line". "Little Wing," "Love Is A Rose,"," and "Star Of Bethlehem" - different mixes of which would all later appear on other Neil Young albums, retain their original form in Homegrown. <br/><br/>Recorded in analog, and mastered from the original master tapes, this long-lost album is a wonderful addition to Young's incomparable catalog.
