Det finns nog ingen som inte har hört megahiten "Total Eclipse of the Heart" med Bonnie Tyler. Hon har sedan 70-talet verkat som artist och har även haft hits som "It's a Heartache" och "Looking Out For A Hero". Tyler är känd för sin hesa rockröst och har sedan starten varit speciellt populär i Sverige. Albumet "Between the earth and stars" inkluderar en låt specielskriven till Tyler av Barry Gibb. Tyler framför här tre duetter, på "Battle Of The Sexes" gästar Rod Stewart, på "Someone's Rockin' Your Heart" gästar Francis Rossi från Status Quo och slutligen på "Taking Control" sjunger hon tillsammans med Cliff Richard. Detta är en värdig återkomst av en av världens mest igenkännlliga och älskade kvinnliga rockröster.
