The War On Drugs med sitt fjärde studio album, A Deeper Understanding, vilket är det första albumet som släpps via Atlantic Records. Det är även bandets första platta sedan 2014's Lost In The Dream.<br/><br/>Sedan senaste albumet Lost In The Dream har The War On Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel suttit i studios i såväl Los Angeles och New York för att skriva, spela in, redigera - men framförallt för att sätta sig själv i hårt arbete. Han har samarbetat med Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Weezer) och tillsammans har dem utmanat vad det innebär att göra musik i dagens digitala och moderna landskap. Granduciel har även haft ett nära samarbete med sina bandmedlemmar; basisten Dave Hartley, keyboardisten Robbie Bennett, trummisen Charlie Hall, Anthony LaMarca och Jon Natchez under hela processen vilket resulterat i att albumet är en högst gemensam ansträngning i renaste form.
