Trilogy of Japanese horrors. In 'One Missed Call' (2003) people start receiving messages from their future selves. On each message is the sound of that person dying, with the future date and time that their death will occur. Can they work out the mystery of these messages in time to prevent their deaths? In the sequel 'One Missed Call 2' (2005), people continue to receive mysterious phone calls, but this time it's the ringtone which proves deadly. Finally, in 'One Missed Call: Final' (2006), a bullied teenager manages to exact revenge on her bullies when she sends them a deadly phone message which they can either choose to pass on or accept the fatal consequences.
