All three instalments of the Japanese anime trilogy based on the manga by Shuichi Shigeno. 'Initial D Legend: Awakening' (2014) follows Takumi Fujiwara (voice of Mamoru Miyano), a young delivery driver looking to make a name for himself in the Mount Akina downhill racing scene. With Keisuke Takahashi (Yûichi Nakamura) of the Akagi RedSuns racing team the dominant driver, Takumi must step up and defeat his rival if he is to be crowned the best racer around. In 'Initial D Legend 2 - Racer' (2015), after his surprise victory over the leader of the Akagi RedSuns racing team, Takumi soon finds himself facing a number of new challenges due to his new-found fame. Finally, in 'Initial D Legend 3 - Dream' (2016), with a showdown against rivals the Akagi RedSuns racing team on the horizon, Takumi soon finds himself coming up against their fastest driver Ryousuke Takahashi (Daisuke Ono).
