Tröstlöshetens Bukt [Bok / Board book]

<p>Konstnären Peter Johansson har låtit bjuda in närmare 50 av Sveriges kvinnliga och manliga förebilder inom kultur, politik, samhälle och humaniora för att låta dem presentera några av de konstverk, från 80-talet fram till dags dato, som gjort honom till en av Sveriges skojfriskaste samhällskritiker. Med humor och visuell lekfullhet har hans vänner fått förhålla sig till konsten, likt regissören Ingmar Bergman till döden. </p><p>I pekboken har även författaren Ulrika Knutson samlat tankar kring bokens titel <i>Souvenir</i> till en lärorik och briliant text, som tar upp de gamla grekernas förhållande till tingen liksom dagens moderna samlande av selfies på semesterresor. </p><p>Detta är en bok för generationer av nya svenskar, en framtida klassiker, en bruksbok man kommer att hitta i alla samhällsmiljöer från daghemsgolv till fikabord på de mekaniska verkstäderna. UPPLYST is Swedish for enlightened and a book which illuminates the work of Art and life of artist Hans Frode. There are many similarities to paint a picture and to live a life. Layer after layer is constantly added, still the same picture but the perspective becomes different because of the result of our actions and time. We live the same life, but a small sudden change created even by chance, can completely change our conditions and life. It is through living our lives we really learn who we are. A painting is a footprint, a piece of cake from time. Time itself is created through the speed of light.  The real paintings in this book all involve waves of light from neon tubes, which make, the in recycled antique frame mounted motif appear contemporary and present. This genre of paintings, on glass and with illuminated glass applications has been called neonism. This book shares with you an artist life from various parts of the world and suggest that we all are the architects of our own lives.  Consciousness is constantly permeated by thoughts. These thoughts form within us an underlying pattern based on which we act and feel. However, these thoughts are not real or true unless we choose to make them so. We choose our patterns, and we can make this choice conscious. As the poem says; Traveler, there is no road, You make your own path as you walk.
