The survivors, including politician Cha Jung-won (Lee Sun-kyun) and his daughter, are unable to escape the bridge but as they come together, they realise that they face another terrifying threat; dogs that were involved in a failed military experiment were being transported across the bridge and are now free and attacking the survivors with brutal efficiency. As Sook-hee tries to persuade Lady Hideko to fall for the Count she instead is the one who forges an intimate bond with her new employer.
