In 'The Suspect' (1944) Philip Marshall (Charles Laughton) finds himself falling in love with Mary Gray (Ella Raines), but he's already unhappily married to Cora (Rosalind Ivan). 'The Sleeping City' (1950) sees detective Fred Rowan (Richard Conte) go undercover at a New York hospital to investigate the murder of an intern. He discovers that Pop Ware (Richard Taber), an elevator operator, has been loaning money to interns and getting them to steal drugs to pay off their debts, but what does nurse Ann Sebastian (Coleen Gray) have to do with it all? In 'Thunder On the Hill' (1951) convicted murderer Valerie Carns (Ann Blyth) is on her way to prison when flooding closes the roads. Her guards seek refuge in the hospital ward of a convent where Sister Mary Bonaventure (Claudette Colbert) becomes convinced of Valerie's innocence. She begins to investigate, putting her life in danger. Finally, in 'Six Bridges to Cross' (1955) Jerry Florea (Sal Mineo/Tony Curtis) is shot by rookie policeman Edward Gallagher (George Nader) and over the years, the two become friends. In 'The Godfather' (1972) mafia kingpin Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) gathers his three sons for daughter Connie (Talia Shire)'s wedding; the hot-headed Sonny (James Caan), ineffectual Fredo (John Cazale) and war hero Michael (Al Pacino), who chooses to distance himself from the family business. When Vito is shot and wounded for refusing to sanction a rival family's heroin sales on his territory, Sonny temporarily takes over and embarks on bloody gang warfare. This results in him being killed in an ambush, and Michael finds himself nominated to succeed the ailing Vito. In 'The Godfather: Part II' (1974) it is 1958 and Michael has now fully embraced the trappings of a mafia boss, leading to conflict with his wife, Kay (Diane Keaton). As he attempts to expand his criminal empire, he thinks of his late father Vito (Robert De Niro)'s rise to power in New York during the 1920s, but all of Michael's attempts to emulate Vito and do the best for his family only pulls them further apart. Finally, in 'Mario Puzo's the Godfather Coda - The Death of Michael Corleone' (1990) it is 1979, and Michael donates $100 million to the Vatican as a signal that his family intend to go legitimate. Unfortunately, the hot-headed Vincent Mancini (Andy Garcia), illegitimate son of Michael's late brother, Sonny, has taken an interest in both business affairs and Michael's daughter, initiating a violent and bloody power struggle.

Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set (50th Anniversary Edition)

In 'Nekromantic' (1987) Rob Schmadtke (Daktari Lorenz) works for a company responsible for cleaning up the streets after traffic accidents. One day, Rob excitedly returns home with a rotting corpse for him and his girlfriend Betty (Beatrice Manowski) to enjoy. However, when Rob loses his job the next day and returns home looking for support, Betty has left and has taken their new plaything with her...'Der Todesking' (1990) is comprised of seven episodes and starts with a body floating in blackness that slowly stretches from a foetal position and begins to decompose. It moves through more disturbing sequences and ideas including a girl scribbling the same word over and over, the reels of the film breaking down and a Nazi death camp sequence. 'Nekromantik 2' (1991) follows female nurse Monika (Monika M.) as she exhumes Rob's corpse after learning about his story through newspaper headlines. However, to her disappointment, Rob's corpse doesn't allow her the satisfaction she desires and she proceeds to destroy most of the body before embarking on a relationship with the fully-sentient Mark (Mark Reeder). But when Mark finds out about Monika's unconventional fetish it leads to an unexpected climax... Finally, in 'Schramm' (1993) Lothar Schramm (Florian Koerner von Gustorf) is a lonely man, murdering any strangers who knock on his door. Desperate for female attention, he kidnaps and drugs his prostitute neighbour Marianne (Monika M.), strips her naked and takes photographs of her body. Just how far can Lothar Schramm go with his deranged behaviour before someone takes notice?

Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set

OBS! Import. Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.

Collection of six works from director Christopher Nolan. In 'Memento' (2000) Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) is suffering from acute short-term memory loss and is unable to remember anything for more than a few minutes at a time. This makes things very difficult when his one mission in life is to track down his wife's killer who escaped from the scene of the crime. 'Batman Begins' (2005) explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high-tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city. In 'The Prestige' (2006) Rupert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Bale) are London-based magicians of the highest order, both blessed with spectacular powers of deception and both cursed with unrelenting envy for one another's skills. When Alfred performs an awe-inspiring trick for which there seems no logical explanation, the friendly competition shared between the pair turns to deadly rivalry as the enraged Rupert determines to uncover his rival's deepest secrets. 'The Dark Knight' (2008), the sequel to 'Batman Begins' (2005), sees Gotham's hero squaring-up to a new kid on the block - psychotic prankster The Joker (Heath Ledger). In the space of a year, Batman, aided by Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) and new District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), has managed to rid Gotham's streets of the organised crime gangs that once ravaged the city. Things seem to be looking up, although on the personal front, Bruce Wayne discovers he has a rival in his affections for main squeeze Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal) in the shape of the new D.A., who, as a political climber, likes to keep his cards close to his chest. But just when the authorities think they're finally making progress in their fight against crime, the appearance on the streets of a sinister new figure, with a demented grin and a passion for chaos, causes panic among the good people of Gotham, and leads to a battle of wits between Batman and The Joker which threatens to get extremely personal. In 'Inception' (2010) Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a professional thief with a difference: the spoils he goes after are not material objects but the thoughts, dreams and secrets buried in the minds of other people. This rare talent has cost him dear, rendering him a solitary fugitive stripped of everything he ever really cared about. When he is offered a chance for redemption by reversing the process and planting an idea rather than stealing it, he and his team of specialists find themselves pitted against a dangerous enemy that appears to pre-empt their every move. Finally, 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012), the final film in Nolan's Batman trilogy, set eight years on from the events of 'The Dark Knight', sees Batman returning to save Gotham City from the evil clutches of brutal terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) and his enigmatic sidekick, Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway). However, Batman's ability to act as an avenging angel is curtailed by the fact that he is now on Gotham City Police Department's Most Wanted list, having assumed responsibility for the crimes of deceased District Attorney Harvey Dent.

Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set
