Sasanian Silver Coins is a reference book for collectors of Sasanian coins. The main obverse types of the silver coinage are described and the coinage in other metals is outlined. This book fills a gap, as other references available today are either far too detalied and expensive, or outdated. Tables with mint names and regnal years written in Pahlavi script makes it possible for the collector to correctly identify a coin. A summary of the history, religion and language of the Sasanian Empire is also given.
