<p>Öland är ett av Sveriges främsta orkidélandskap. Av de ca 55 arter och underarter som finns i Sverige finns cirka 35 på Öland.</p><p>Boken berättar om de olika miljöer orkidéer växer i och varför de finns just där. På Öland växer orkidéer i så vitt skilda miljöer som alvarmark, strandängar, ädellövskog, tallskog och i många olika typer av kärr. Alla miljöerna har olika förutsättningar och därmed trivs olika orkidéer i olika miljöer. </p><p>Ölands och Sveriges samtliga orkidéer är fridlysta och många av dem starkt hotade då många populationer gått tillbaka avsevärt. Hoten kan bestå av att livsmiljöer förändras på ett sätt som påverkar orkidéerna negativt, att de grävs upp för att planteras i trädgårdar eller att de plockas. Utbildad biolog och arbetar vid sidan om sin fotografiska verksamhet med natur- och vattenvårdsfrågor på Länsstyrelsen i Kalmar län. Han har tidigare bl.a. arbetat som guide i Ottenby naturreservat och i nationalparken Blå Jungfrun. Utnämnd till National Geografic Explorer samt medlem i Naturfotograferna/N och PhotoNatura. År 2003 tilldelades han Naturfotografernas/N och Kodaks stipendium. Henrik har också vunnit flera europeiska fototävlingar. År 2011 gav Henrik ut boken <i>Mångfaldens ö - bilder &amp; tankar från Ölands natur </i>på eget förlag och 2017 gav Henrik, tillsammans med Jan Pedersen, ut boken <i>Vilda Norden</i> på Votum Förlag.   </p><p><b>Emma Tinnert</b>, född 1985, är biolog, konstnär och illustratör. Hon kombinerar sitt intresse för biologi med sin passion för akvarellmåleri genom att skapa detaljrika illustrationer med naturmotiv. Emma är bosatt på Öland och egen företagare men har tidigare bland annat arbetat som föreståndare för Naturum Ottenby på Ölands södra udde. År 2014 gav Emma ut boken <i>Min fjärilsbok</i> tillsammans med författare Stefan Casta på Opal förlag. Boken blev utsedd till Årets naturbok 2014 av Natursidan. </p>

<p>Climate policy is a complex area that requires input from many different perspectives. The SNS Economic Policy Council 2020 comprises nine researchers from a range of disciplines, with different backgrounds and with varied opinions on the debate surrounding climate policy. They analyse Swedish climate policy in a global context, describing the causes and consequences of climate change and focusing on how policy can achieve the desired reductions in carbon emissions. The report also provides answers to questions that are frequently discussed in the Swedish debate, such as the effectiveness of climate aid and whether Sweden should generate a larger surplus of fossil-free electricity for export.   </p><p>The members of the SNS Economic Policy Council 2020 are John Hassler (chair), Björn Carlén, Jonas Eliasson, Filip Johnsson, Per Krusell, Therese Lindahl, Jonas Nycander, Åsa Romson, and Thomas Sterner.  </p>
