Sampanerna från Kanton: F.H af Chapmans kinesiska gouacher är en bok om 99 kinesiska akvareller som befunnit sig på svensk mark sedan slutet av 1700-talet. Fredrik af Chapman var skeppsbyggare och varvsamiral. Tillsammans med C A Ehrensvärd blev han en av förgrundsgestalterna i kung Gustaf III:s uppbyggnad av svenska flottans isfria hamnstad i Karlskrona i södra Sverige. Fredrik af Chapmans 99 gouacher föreställer kinesiska båtar på stilla hav med varierande last samt tre med scenerier från magasinen och hamnen i Kanton. På varje tavla är båtmodellens kinesiska namn textad med latinska bokstäver. Båtarna är målade i lager med gouache, en täckande vattenfärg på tunt orientaliskt papper.
