Triple bill containing Episodes I-III of the hugely popular 'Star Wars' series. In 'Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace' (1999), Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jin (Liam Neeson) and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) have come on a diplomatic mission to the planet Naboo, intending to open discussions between the planet's leaders and the heads of the Trade Federation. In 'Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones' (2002), Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) disobeys the strictures of his Jedi training, embarking on a forbidden affair with Padme Amidala (Portman) while his teacher Obi-Wan Kenobi's (McGregor) investigation of assassination attempts against the Senator leads him to the distant planet of Kamino and into the middle of a separatist plot which brings the Galactic Republic to the very brink of civil war. In 'Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith' (2005), as the Clone Wars rage on, the rift between Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and the Jedi Council widens.<br/><br/>Young Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker (Christensen), is caught in the middle, his allegiances torn. Seduced by promises of power and the temptations of the dark side, he pledges himself to the evil Darth Sidious and the Sith Order, becoming Darth Vader. Together, the Sith Lords set in motion a plot of revenge against the Jedi, in attempt to destroy them all.<br/><br/>Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (McGregor) tries to turn his old Padawan learner back to the light side, leading to a climactic lightsaber battle that will shape the fate of the galaxy forever.

Along the way he befriends Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness) and roguish space pilot Han Solo (Harrison Ford) as he sets off on a quest to save Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher).<br/><br/>In 'Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back' (1980), after the destruction of the Death Star, the rebels led by Luke and Leia are on the run from the vengeful Empire. Holed up on an inhospitable ice planet, they are soon discovered and must flee across the galaxy. Luke decides to visit an old Jedi Knight while Han and Leia become involved in a game of cat and mouse with Vader and a host of bounty hunters led by Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch).<br/><br/>In 'Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi' (1983), with Han being held captive by Jabba the Hutt (voice of Larry Ward), his friends Luke, Leia, Lando (Billy Dee Williams), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) plan a rescue mission. Then the intrepid group must make another assault on the new, more powerful Death Star and Luke must face his destiny in the shape of Darth Vader.
