<b>OBS! Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Václav Vorlícek directs this adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Living in a small village in the woods surrounding a grand castle, Popelka (Libuse Safránková) is forced to work as a servant undertaking menial tasks for her stepmother (Carola Braunbock). One day while out riding in the forest, she comes across a prince (Pavel Trávnícek) and his hunting party. After impressing the prince with her excellent hunting skills and charming him with her witty retorts, Popelka playfully dismisses his advances before returning home to her village. Later, upon learning that there is to be a ball at the castle where the prince will choose a wife, Popelka uses some magic acorns she was given to create a spectacular dress as part of her plan to finally let the prince know of her true feelings for him.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In the Theresienstadt ghetto of Czechoslovakia, the Nazis are preparing for a visit from the International Red Cross. In an attempt to cover up the real function of the ghetto they draft in actors for a propaganda film which will show the community flourishing as opposed to dwindling. To outsiders, it seems that the Jews being held there are living in relative comfort and under the protection of the Third Reich. However, this was only a facade, as the ghetto served merely as a holding place for Jews before they were transported to extermination camps as part of the Final Solution.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
