Finally the new album "Korus" from Malmö-based Majken is here! A delicate album full of twists and turns, both musically and spiritually. It's an album ,full of details to disover and cherish. And songs that keeps on giving, musically and lyrically. Both Fiona Apple and Cate Le Bon comes to mind. But most of all this is a very unique and personal sounding album with multifaceted lyrics, stellar songs and exciting arrangements.

Som låtskrivare och sångare i legendariska banden Blå tåget och Gunder hägg så skrev Torkel in sig i svensk musikhistoria. Nu kommer ett mångfacetterat och fullspäckat nytt album - "Farväl Kapten" - där vi finner musiker som; Roland Keijser (som var med i Gunder Hägg / Blå Tåget från 1967), Sigge Krantz (som medverkade på tre av Torkels LP-skivor under 70-80-talet) och Lise-Lotte Norelius (som var med i musikforum). Och så ett par nya kompanjoner: Reine Fiske (Dungen, Traäd gräs och stenar) och producenten Fredrik Swahn (the Amazing, Anna Järvinen's liveband mm).

The global, dreamy afro pop crossover duo (Annarella from Sweden and Django from Mali) is finally releasing their debut album. With a special mix where the Swedish flute meets the West African Ngoni string instrument. A bit like Amadou and Mariam but at the same time this is a highly unique mix of two cultures coming together as one. The duo met when they both were out touring with the Senegalese/Swedish sensation act Wau Wau Collectif. Django Diabaté is cousin to the recently passed Kora Master Toumani Diabaté. On this album the duo also invited the Swedish allround musician Ale Möller (Annarella's flute teacher) for providing some of his magic. Turn the volume up!
