Debut album from dynamic bicoastal duo Boo Boos (Katie Boo and Bronco Boo). Katie Boo was born in a small coal-mining town in Ohio and was raised by the radio before moving to Brooklyn, NY and changing her name to Kate Mattison. The electricity of the city combined with her love of the heartland's soul music soon inspired Kate to start her band 79.5. Bronco Boo began life in a Washington, D.C. hospital and was promptly brought home to live on the wild prairies of the Northern Virginia suburbs. He changed his name to Mark Everett and then again to the letter "E" and formed the band EELS before deciding to go back to Bronco in 2025.

Volume V follows on five years after their fourth album For Your Love, a record lovingly nurtured but then swallowed up by the Covid pandemic. The title signifies the latest chapter in the ongoing story of Other Lives, their fifth record of magnificent musical and emotional depth. The majority of Volume V was recorded in The Sheerar, a former church that is now the Stillwater History Museum. The Sheerar’s acoustics partly accounts for the album’s more cathedral-esque take on Other Lives’ signature sound, which has the roots in a form of Americana but expanded via classical and post-classical forms, and the influence of iconic composers such as Ennio Morricone and Henry Mancini.

Kerala Dust’s new album, An Echo of Love, is a dynamic blend of art rock, electronica, and Americana, reflecting constant change and musical experimentation. The album’s fluidity is mirrored in both its shifting lineup - adding keyboardist Tim Gardner and drummer Pascal Karier - and its diverse recording locations, including Tuscany, Austin, Berlin, Zurich, and Rome. Lead member Edmund Kenny describes the album as capturing a state of mind, shaped by his personal experiences, especially after a tumultuous period following the band’s 2023 tour.
