Slide it in 1984 (Special edit/Rem) 6 CD + DVD + Bok
Whitesnake scored its first platinum-selling album in 1984 with Slide It In, a release that has sold more than four million copies worldwide thanks to hard-rocking songs like "Love Ain't No Stranger," "Slow An' Easy" and the title track. The classic album turns 35 this year and Rhino is celebrating with several new versions, including an enormous seven-disc box set.

After releasing Saints & Sinners in 1982, Whitesnake reconvened the following year in Germany to begin recording songs for what would become the band's sixth studio album, Slide It In. At the time, band members included Coverdale, guitarists Micky Moody and Mel Galley, bassist Colin Hodgkinson and keyboardist Jon Lord. The album was initially released in 1984 in the U.K., where it climbed into the Top 10.

SLIDE IT IN: THE ULTIMATE SPECIAL EDITION features unreleased versions of every album track, including 35th Anniversary remixes made this year, as well as monitor mixes recorded in 1983. The set boasts more than a dozen unreleased live recordings from 1984 that feature an entire concert from Glasgow, Scotland, plus several songs from Lord's final show with Whitesnake in Sweden. The collection's final disc unearths 30 tracks that cover original demos and early mixes for album tracks, as well as unfinished song ideas.

The DVD from SLIDE IT IN: THE ULTIMATE SPECIAL EDITION mixes music videos and live performances, all of which have been carefully restored and remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound for the first time ever. A newly recorded interview with singer David Coverdale rounds out the DVD.

Rock'n'roll star! 1971-72 5 CD + Blu-ray + 2 Bok
ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR!, containing 29 unreleased tracks, covers early songwriting demos, recordings from David's band, The Arnold Corns, rehearsals at Bowie's then-home, Haddon Hall, BBC sessions, singles, live performances, plus outtakes and alternative versions from the original album recording sessions, which have been newly mixed by original album producer, Ken Scott.

Unreleased highlights include an alternative version of 'Lady Stardust', an unheard version of the deep-cut classic 'Shadow Man' and an up-tempo take of The Who's 'I Can't Explain', which he would later slow down and cover for the PIN-UPS album.

The audio-only Blu-Ray disc features the definitive 2012 remaster of the original Ziggy Stardust album in 96kHz/24bit PCM stereo, plus the album and additional mixes from 2003 in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 as well as the singles, outtakes and alternative versions in 96kHz/24 bit PCM stereo.

The Blu-Ray also includes a version of the ZIGGY STARDUST album called WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STARMAN CAME TO EARTH) taken from Trident Studio tapes dated 15th December 1971, which features an alternative running order and four songs that didn't make the final album.

ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR! also contains two books. The first is an extensive 112-page book with detailed liner notes, memorabilia, contemporary reviews and articles, rare photographs from Barrie Wentzel, Michael Putland, Mick Rock, Sukita and Alec Byrne, as well as brand-new notes and interviews with Ken Scott, Mark Carr Pritchett and David's plugger from the time, Anya Wilson. Accompanying the main book is a 36-page compiled reproduction of David's personal Ziggy Stardust era notebooks.

The first track taken from ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR! is 'ZIGGY STARDUST' (DEMO)' recorded by Bowie on vocal and acoustic guitar in March 1971 at Haddon Hall in Beckenham.
