*Lost Highway* is the 1997 French-American neo-noir-horror mystery film written and directed by *David Lynch*. In a career spanning over 50 years the American band Kool & the Gang recorded an impressive list of hit songs and hidden gems, now bundled on our exclusive Collected record. Soul music originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 50s and 60s. Having its roots in African American gospel music and rhythm & blues, it became popular for dancing and listening with prominent record labels as Motown, Atlantic and Stax.
