The eighth full-length album Ghost Reveries by Swedish heavy metal band Opeth is the epitome of what metal should be: a work of art. The album is filled with heavy, intricate, and precisely performed guitar riffs. You can't avoid the monstrous riffs in a song like "The Grand Conjuration". As the band's main composer, Mikael Åkerfeldt successfully managed to transfer his dark emotions into all those twisted solos, surrounded then by wall of even thicker riffs. He's blending classical clean harmonies with guttural growls. Opeth's technical capacity mark them out from both their followers and their peers and accordingly Ghost Reveries is definitely one of the greatest metal albums ever recorded. This album is a culmination of everything Opeth have worked toward throughout their career. It's fully realized, stunningly beautiful, and emotionally fragmented.<br/><br/>The highly successful Swedish metal band Opeth rose to fame in the early zero's, after releasing a couple of fan highlights. The Highwaymen were a Country music super-group composed of four of the biggest outlaw Country artists: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. The band was active as a group between 1985 and 1995. 180 gram audiophile vinyl<br/>Insert<br/><br/>The Final Countdown is the third studio album by the Swedish hard rock band Europe, and one of the most glorious launches in history. Released in 1986, the album was a huge commercial success selling over 3 million units in the United States alone, peaking at number 8 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and reaching high positions in charts worldwide.<br/><br/>Recorded at Powerplay Studios in Zürich, Switzerland, the band worked with American producer Kevin Elson, who had worked with bands like Journey and Lynyrd Skynyrd. "Rock The Night" and "Ninja" premiered on the band's Wings of Tomorrow tour in 1984. Five singles were released from the album: "The Final Countdown," "Love Chaser," "Rock the Night," "Carrie," and "Cherokee."<br/><br/>The song "The Final Countdown" was based on an old keyboard riff that Tempest had composed as early as 1981-82, on a Korg Polysix keyboard he had borrowed from Michaeli. In 1985 bassist John Levén suggested that Tempest should write a song based on that riff. The rest is Pop history.

Tony Joe White was an influential musician in the '60s and '70s swamp rock scene. As one of the creators of this sound he recorded different hit songs, like "Rainy Night In Georgia" and "Polk Salad Annie". The exclusive 2LP Collected title covers his music from the '60s until the '00s, including duets with different artists.<br/><br/>After Tony signed his first contract in 1967 he recorded multiple singles without success. In 1969 "Polk Salad Annie" charted in the U.S. , reaching number 8. He recorded multiple albums in the late '60s early '70s. As he became more popular other musicians started covering his songs, like Dusty Springfield's "Willie and Laura Mae Jones" and Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia". Both songs charted in the cover versions and made him a well-known artist. During the '90s and '00s he recorded more albums and singles, including classics like "Ain't Going Down This Time" and "(You're Gonna) Look Good In Blues".
