The free-wheelin’ rock ‘n’ soul trio DeWolff is set to release their highly anticipated 10th studio album, Muscle Shoals, on December 6th. The album was recorded last May at the legendary FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner, known for his work with Alabama Shakes and Dylan LeBlanc. Frontman Pablo van de Poel describes the experience as magical, saying, "Right when we played our first notes there, I got goosebumps: here was that sound I've been hearing on all those classic albums!" Surrounded by the rich musical history of icons like Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and the Rolling Stones, DeWolff channeled the spirit of these legendary artists while staying true to their unique sound—a fiery blend of blues, soul, psychedelic, and southern rock with a distinctive Dutch twist.

Inmazes is the title of the debut album by Danish experimental rock band VOLA. The album tries to capture this feeling of being trapped in mental mazes and not being able to fully experience happiness. Asger: “How it is achieved? I think we’ve all tried being so caught up in a joyful moment, that we have a little voice inside our head saying: “right now is so wonderful!” It’s an incredibly pure experience that can only exist if we are so present in this very situation, that negative things are pushed back in our head, to the point where they don’t reach your consciousness. If the negative thoughts are sticking to the very front of your mind, it suddenly becomes a very tiresome and complex struggle to make this moment of happiness occur. This re-issue will be released on November 1 via Mascot Records in conjunction with the new VOLA album Friend Of A Phantom.

Danish-Swedish quartet VOLA released Witness in 2021 featuring their iconic blend of futuristic progressive rock, electronica and modern metal. topped off with clear, beautiful vocal lines. Bringing on board Grammy award-nominated Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Delain) early on in the process with his hi-fi approach to mixing, this inspired VOLA to push their versatile capabilities into the direction of creating a very contemporary album & atmosphere. There is always an underlining cinematic aesthetic to VOLA that explodes in front of you upon listening to them. But it then entices you deeper within the rabbit hole, following their story further until you are taken in by its hold. 'Witness' invites you on a journey that pursues characters being held witness to major changes in their lives.
