Bruce Springsteens första nya studioalbum på fem år tar hans musik till en ny plats och hämtar inspiration från södra Kaliforniens popskivor från det sena 60-talet och tidiga 70-talet. <br/>Albumet spelades till större del in i Springsteens hemmastudio i New Jersey, med ytterligare inspelning i Kalifornien och New York. Detta är Springsteens 19:e studioalbum. <br/><br/>"This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements," säger Springsteen. "It's a jewel box of a record."<br/><br/>De 13 låtarna på "Western Stars" omfattar ett brett spektrum av amerikanska teman - motorvägar och ökenområden, isolering och samhälle samt beständigheten av hem och hopp.<br/><br/>Ron Aniello har producerat albumet tillsammans med Springsteen och han spelar även bas, keyboard och andra instrument. Även Patti Scialfa medverkar på albumet och bidrar med röstarrangemang på fyra stycken spår. De musikaliska arrangemangen inkluderar strängar, blåsinstrument och bidrag från över 20 andra musiker, låtskrivaren och kompositören Jon Brion, samt gästspel från David Sancious, Charlie Giordano och Soozie Tyrell. Memento Mori is Depeche Mode's 15th studio album and the first in the lineup of Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, following the tragic death of co-founder Andrew "Fletch" Fletcher in 2022. Memento Mori was produced by James Ford, with additional production by Marta Salogni . The album was created during the early stages of the Covid pandemic, resulting in themes directly inspired by that period. The album's 12 tracks chart a wide variety of moods and textures from the ominous opening to the closing denouement, running the gamut from paranoia and obsession to catharsis and joy, and countless points in between.

'Memento Mori: Mexico City' features over 2 hours of live music from Depeche Mode's sold out September 2023 concert at the legendary Foro Sol Stadium plus 4 previously unreleased bonus tracks from the Memento Mori Sessions.
