Hugh Laurie är kanske mest känd som Dr. Gregory House i serien House. Han föddes i Oxford och är skådespelare, författare, musiker och komiker.<br/>Hans debutalbum "Let Them Talk" är en härlig hyllning till New Orleans blues och förenar Lauries musikaliska talang med ett mycket personligt urval av tidigare bluesklassiker. Detta gör han tillsammans med kända musiker och några mycket speciella gästartister. Albumet är producerat av Joe Henry och har spelats in i Los Angeles och New Orleans. På "Let Them Talk" ser vi Laurie på sång och piano tillsammans med ett team av musiker som arbetat med kända namn som Greg Allman, Solomon Burke, Robert Plant , kd lang, T-Bone Burnett, Alison Krause och John Legend. Tillsammans tolkar de och återupplivar sånger som ursprungligen har spelats in av NOLA blues-gitarrister som Lead Belly, Robert Johnson, Ray Charles och Memphis Slim. Hugh Laurie har även sammarbetat med The Soul Queen of New Orleans Irma Thomas och Sir Tom Jones på "Baby, Please Make A Change". On May 4th , 2018 the Grammy nominated blues rocker played London's world-famous Royal Albert Hall which became a landmark gig for the versatile vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. <br/>Known for her visceral, soul-baring vocals and dynamic range, Hart is riding a creative tidal wave following the release of her critically acclaimed 2016 studio album, 'Fire On The Floor,' as well as her just-released studio collaboration with guitarist Joe Bonamassa, 'Black Coffee.' Levelling audiences with her incredible power and celebrated burnt-honey vocals for 20 years.

After two successful collaborations with 2012 "Don't Explain" and 2013 "Seesaw" Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa decided to tour for the first time. The duo did a very short exclusive run in prestigious venues, ending the tour with 2 sold out shows in the historic Carre Theater in Amsterdam. This beautiful location was where Beth Hart, known for her raw and powerful blues-rock sound, amazed everyone with a spectacular performance.

The newest album from Rhiannon Giddens', You're the One is her third solo studio album and her first of all original songs. This collection of 12 songs written over the course of Giddens' career bursts with life-affirming energy, drawing from the folk music that she knows so deeply, as well as its pop descendants. Produced by Jack Splash (Solange, Alicia Keys, Valerie June), You're the One features some of Giddens' closest musical collaborators from the past decade, including multi-instrumentalists Francesco Turrisi and Dirk Powell, bassist Jason Sypher, and Congolese guitarist Niwel Tsumbu. The album features electric and upright bass, conga, Cajun and Piano accordions, guitars, a Western string section, and Miami horns, among other instruments, capturing the inclusive spirit that channels through all of her work. <br/><br/>"I hope that people just hear American music," Giddens says. "Blues, jazz, Cajun, country, gospel, and rock-it's all there. I like to be where it meets organically. They're fun songs, and I wanted them to have as much of a chance as they could to reach people who might dig them but don't know anything about what I do. If they're introduced to me through this record, they might go listen to other music I've made with a different set of ears."

Den 21 och 22:a januari förra året spelade Grammy-nominerade rock- och bluesgitarristen, sångaren och låtskrivaren Joe Bonamassa två unika akustiska konserter på anrika Carnegie Hall i New York. Båda konserterna spelades in och sammanställdes till Joe Bonamassa Live At Carnegie Hall - An Acoustic Evening. Utgåvan innehåller annorlunda arrangemang med akustisk sättning av en rad av Bonamassas klassiker tillsammans med nya låtar och sådana han aldrig tidigare spelat live.<br/><br/>Konserterna ingick in en speciell akustisk mini-turné i början av förra året då Bonamassa åkte runt med en antal renommerade musiker som den kinesiske erhuspelaren och cellisten Tina Guo, den egyptiske slagverkaren Hossam Ramzy, som bl a spelade på Page & Plants No Quarter, Reese Wynans (piano), Anton Fig (trummor), Eric Brazilian (mandolin, nyckelharpa, saxofon, akustisk gitarr och sång) samt den australiska sångartrion Mahalia Barnes, Juanita Tippins och Gary Pinto.
