Jackson Browne's classic album Running On Empty is now available on vinyl and CD in its original packaging and with newly remastered audio! Featuring 10 live performances recorded in 1977 between August 17 and September 18 by Browne and his band: guitarist Danny Kortchmar; David Lindley on fiddle and lap steel guitar; keyboardist Craig Doerge; bassist Leland Sklar; drummer Russ Kunkel; and background vocalists Doug Haywood and Rosemary Butler. Together, they recorded these songs in natural settings, such as a Holiday Inn hotel room, a backstage rehearsal space, on a tour bus, and on stage.

Det psykedeliska folkrock-bandet Love med Arthur Lee i spetsen spelade in två magiska album 1967 - "Da capo" och "Forever changes" och det är framför allt det sistnämnda som gjort bandet legendariskt. Likt Beach Boys "Pet sounds" gick det ganska obemärkt förbi när det släpptes, men när det gäller storverk ger historien dem oftast rätt. "Forever changes" är idag en cementerad klassiker. Likt andra kvalitetsalbum är det en växare som blir bättre och bättre. Det är bara att slå sig ner och låta sig svepas med när inledande "Alone again or" startar upp detta odödliga mästerverk.

När Van Morrison släppte "Moondance" 1970 var det inte alls den meditativa stil som vilade över föregående albumet "Astral weeks". Nej, här var det en kokande gryta fylld med jazz, soul, country och blues. Det är en platta fylld av liv och lust - en mastodont som omedelbart fick den klassikerstatus som den fortfarande har. Många klassar den som Van Morrisons allra bästa album. Många klassar den som historiens bästa album.
