In Genesis' incredible body of work, 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' is a landmark record. Originally released on 22 November 1974, at the pinnacle of their early success, it came at a pivotal point in Genesis' history. It is rated as one of the greatest albums of its era and one of the most influential progressive rock albums of all time.<br/> <br/>'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition' is the album's definitive compendium, following the arc of the album's creation and tour. With input from all of the band members involved in the record - Tony Banks, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford - it comes in 5LP+Blu Ray Audio and 4CD+Blu Ray Audio formats, both providing a deep dive into the music and visual elements around this album and includes;<br/><br/>- The original album mix, remastered at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell from the 1974 analogue tapes.<br/><br/>- A Blu-ray audio disc includes the remastered 96kHz/24-bit high resolution audio and Dolby ATMOS mixes of the studio album done by Bob Mackenzie at Real World Studios under the supervision of Peter Gabriel and Tony Banks.<br/><br/>- The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Live At The Shrine Auditorium from January 24, 1975. It is remastered and includes two encore tracks 'Watcher of the Skies' and 'The Musical Box'. Nonesuch releases a deluxe edition of Wilco's 2004 Grammy Award-winning album A Ghost Is Born. The box set comprises nine vinyl LPs and four CDs - including the original album, alternates, outtakes, and demos, charting the making of A Ghost Is Born-plus the complete 2004 concert recording from Boston's Wang Center and the band's "fundamentals" workshop sessions. It includes sixty-five previously unreleased music tracks as well as a forty-eight-page hardcover book with previously unpublished photos and a new liner note by Grammy-winning writer Bob Mehr. An alternate version of "Handshake Drugs," recorded during the studio sessions at New York's Sear Sound, twenty-one years ago this month, on November 13, 2003, is available now.<br/> <br/>A Ghost Is Born was released commercially on June 22, 2004, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard chart. The album, which Mehr calls "an eclectic array of dark ballads, upbeat pop songs, Krautrock chug, noise rock freakouts, and roots rock abandon," was widely acclaimed as one of 2004's best, appearing in year-end lists of Mojo, NPR, NME, the Associated Press, The Wire, Rolling Stone, the Village Voice, and Uncut, among many others. The album earned the band its first Grammy, for Best Alternative Music Album. The album also won a Grammy for Best Recording Package.

Svein and Torbjørn introduce the True Electric album project with What Else Is There? (ft. Fever Ray) [True Electric], a pulsating, intense new version of the classic Röyksopp track from their 2005 album, The Understanding. A high-energy visualiser edit for the single, directed by regular Röyksopp collaborator Stian Andersen, was recorded on location at the band's 2023<br/>True Electric show in Athens featuring the live show in full kinetic flow.<br/><br/>True Electric gathers together 19 studio versions of the music from Röyksopp's True Electric tour in 2023, featuring previously unreleased track The "R" as well as newly-reworked versions of originals and remixes taken from their acclaimed catalogue. These include the celebrated Robyn collaboration Do It Again featuring Robyn (from the 2014 Röyksopp & Robyn EP Do It Again )<br/>and Running To The Sea featuring Susanne Sundfør (from the 2014 Röyksopp album The Inevitable End) as well as several tracks from their critically acclaimed Profound Mysteries creative universe that resulted in three albums released across 2022.<br/><br/>Speaking on the album, Svein and Torbjørn explain:<br/><br/>"True Electric" consists of recordings and renditions, meant to capture the essence of our live shows bearing the same name. The idea was to put an emphasis on the clubbier aspects of our music, as well as returning to our roots within the realms of electronic music."
