The ensuing fighting was frantic and chaotic and gave rise to the popular movie 'A Bridge Too Far'. This earlier effort, filmed little more than a year after the battle itself and featuring men such as Stanley Maxted and Thomas Scullion who actually participated in the conflict, provides a dramatic and hard-hitting insight into the experience of war.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The crew of the Sea Tiger have their leave cut short when they are ordered to pursue and sink a new German battleship known as the Brandenburg. The crew's captain (Mills) is tasked with destroying the ship before it enters the Kiel Canal but he soon discovers that the battleship is heavily defended and is further away than first thought. Along the way the Sea Tiger enters German controlled seas knowing that once they succeed in their mission they may not have enough fuel to return home.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The film follows the story of Shipman, a general practitioner who throughout his career is believed to have killed as many as 250 of his patients. When the high death rate of his practice was investigated, it was discovered that he had given lethal doses of diamorphine to a vast number of his patients.
