This special four-disc configuration (two video discs plus two audio discs) presents the entire world of Depeche: The SPiRiTS in the Forest experience will be most immersive. The boxes contain the documentary SPiRiTS in the Forest, as well as the concert LiVE SPiRiTS filmed during the last two shows of the Global Spirit Tour at the Waldbühne in Berlin. These images were never broadcast in their entirety. In addition to this original support, two audio CDs retranscribe this unique performance. This box promises to be essential for collectors, longtime fans and newcomers.

Den 31 augusti 1970 klockan 2 på natten blev Leonard Cohen väckt då han låg och vilade sig i sin husvagn. Han blev ombedd att kliva upp på scenen och möttes av en publik på över 600000 omtumlade människor som just sett Jimi Hendrix göra ett makalöst uppträdande. Festivalen hade förvandlats till en politisk arena där staket revs och byggnader sattes i brand. När så Leonard Cohen klev upp på scenen kunde Joan Baez, Kris Kristofferson och Judy Collins som också uppträdde på festivalen inte annat än hänföras hur denna kanadensiske folksångare, låtskrivare och poet lyckades tämja publiken.<br/><br/>Oscarsbelönade dokumentärfilmaren Murray Lerner lyckades fånga Cohens uppträdande och Columbia Records producent Teo Macero höll ordning på ljudet.<br/><br/>CD/DVD innehåller den kompletta dokumentären med konserten och intervjuer med Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Bob Johnston och Kris Kristofferson.
