Approximately five years ago we released the album" Jazz & the city", which became an immediate success with more than 30 000 albums sold. Now we dare to repeat this success - this time with a completely unique content!<br/><br/>One of the CDs in this 2CD box contains Nordic material only, which we market as "Divas of Nordic Jazz". It's a selection with some of the most celebrated and known young Nordic female jazz singers from the Nordic countries, with a good foothold in their respective home countries.<br/>You have most probably heard of Rigmor Gustavsson, Helle Brunvoll, Sophie Pettersson, Zelma, Ira Kaspi, Gunhild Nyborg, LaGaylia Frasier. If not, it's an excellent opportunity to buy this compilation!<br/><br/>These names give the tone of CD1 with modern, smart and sensual jazz, which the Nordic region has gotten itself known for in the Jazz world.<br/><br/>Listen to the album and dream yourself away while you glance through this well designed "coffee table"-box with its beautiful pictures in a New York atmosphere.<br/><br/>CD2 contains standards by famous jazz legends in unique interpretations.
