In late-19th-century New Mexico, a hunting party of decadent European aristocrats wanders onto the reservation of some angry Apaches, and it's up to the mysterious wanderer, Shalako (Sean Connery), to save them from getting slaughtered. The group includes Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore in GOLDFINGER) as the sexually restless Lady Bagget and BrigItte Bardot as the sharp shooting Countess Lazaar, who (of course) falls for Shalako. <br/><br/>It's an unusual blend of wide-open Western action and European character intrigue as the decadent aristocrats sip champagne and flirt with their unwashed, treacherous cowboy guides. Veteran director Edward Dmytryk keeps the flaming arrows flying while Connery and Bardot hold attention in this weird hybrid of American Western and European art film. (Yes, Bardot has a seminude bathing scene.) <br/><br/>SHALAKO, based on the novel by Louis L'Amour, was filmed almost entirely outdoors amid the dark grey landscapes of Almeria, Spain, in a style undoubtedly indebted to the Sergio Leone spaghetti Westerns of the time.

'Missing In Action' (1984) sees Special Forces Colonel James Braddock (Chuck Norris) escape from a Vietnamese POW camp and return to base. He reluctantly joins a fact-finding mission trying to track down other MIAs. In 'Code of Silence' (1985) incorruptible Chicago cop Sgt. Eddie Cusack (Norris) discovers that a fellow detective has gunned down an innocent teenager in a bungled drugs stakeout. Ostracized by the rest of the force and pursued by two rival drug gangs, Cusack launches a one man crusade to bring the errant cop to justice. In 'Lone Wolf McQuade' (1983) gruff Texas Ranger JJ McQuade (Norris) reluctantly teams up with new Mexican partner Kayo to track down a convoy of stolen army trucks. On the way he is sidetracked by a widow living on a nearby ranch (Barbara Carrera), who just happens to be the girlfriend of the gang leader (David Carradine) he is pursuing.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

Collection of seven James Bond films starring Roger Moore as the eponymous spy. In 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instalment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controlled drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. In 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target.<br/><br/>However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is really after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond join forces with a glamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megalomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve world domination by causing nuclear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond is assigned to track down a missing space shuttle after it goes missing during a test flight.<br/><br/>His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finally into outer space where he uncovers a ruthless plot to wipe out the human race and replace it with genetically engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond tasked with retrieving a nuclear launch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. In 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond is pitted against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who plan to steal Tsarist treasures and set off a nuclear explosion in a German NATO base.<br/><br/>Finally in 'A View to a Kill' (1985), Moore's final appearance as Bond, he battles madman Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) who plans to flood California's lucrative Silicon Valley by imploding the San Andreas Fault.
