En gyllene tråd, som hon får på sin gudfar Drosselmeyers årliga julfest, leder henne till den eftertraktade nyckeln. Men nyckeln försvinner omedelbart in i en underlig och mystisk parallell värld. Där möter Clara soldaten Phillip, ett gäng möss och regenterna som härskar över tre av världarna: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers och Land of Sweets. George Segal and Robert Vaughn star in John Guillermin's 'The Bridge at Remagen' (1969), telling the story of the day that the Nazis blew up the last remaining bridge over the Rhine, leaving their own men stranded on the wrong side.<br/><br/>In 'Attack' (1956), a group of American soldiers find themselves trapped by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge. 'Von Ryan's Express' (1965) tells the story of US pilot Colonel Joseph Ryan (Frank Sinatra) who is shot down and placed in a German POW camp.<br/><br/>Although Joseph is more concerned with his own survival than actually breaking free from the camp, he unpredictably gets chosen as leader of a daring escape attempt, facing many hazards along the way.
