December 10th, 2022 was a memorable night when British rock band Magnum played the final show of their European tour at KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton and, as they had done on all previous nights, wowed their fans from the first to the last note. The concert was recorded by a number of video cameras and state-of-the-art audio equipment, which later turned out to be a real blessing because it was - as we know with hindsight - the last official live recording starring Magnum founder Tony Clarkin. The guitarist and main songwriter died unexpectedly on January 07th, 2024, just a few days before the release of Magnum's studio album 'Here Comes The Rain', including a bonus DVD featuring the Wolverhampton show.<br/>Due to the huge demand and to mark the first anniversary of Clarkin's passing, 'Live At KK's Steel Mill' will be available on Steamhammer/SPV from January 10th, 2025, for the first time on double CD, triple LP and for digital download. The album presents Magnum as an enthusiastically celebrated act whose repertoire of hits, classics and newer material could hardly be more varied.

The free-wheelin&rsquo; rock &lsquo;n&rsquo; soul trio DeWolff is set to release their highly anticipated 10th studio album, Muscle Shoals, on December 6th. The album was recorded last May at the legendary FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner, known for his work with Alabama Shakes and Dylan LeBlanc. Frontman Pablo van de Poel describes the experience as magical, saying, "Right when we played our first notes there, I got goosebumps: here was that sound I&#039;ve been hearing on all those classic albums!" Surrounded by the rich musical history of icons like Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and the Rolling Stones, DeWolff channeled the spirit of these legendary artists while staying true to their unique sound&mdash;a fiery blend of blues, soul, psychedelic, and southern rock with a distinctive Dutch twist.

MOGGS MOTEL - new band featuring UFO singer Phil Mogg.<br/><br/>UFO fans, watch out! Anyone who'd feared over the past two years that UFO frontman Phil Mogg, one of the most influential rock vocalists worldwide, would disappear completely from the scene after the demise of his band, in addition to his health problems, has now thankfully been proved wrong.<br/><br/>After a brief hiatus to catch his creative breath, the British musician with the distinctive voice is ready to present his latest band and release, 'Moggs Motel', which he composed together with Tony Newton (bass & keyboards) from the band Voodoo Six, who had been touring partners with UFO previously, and long-standing associate Neil Carter (guitar, keyboards, vocals). The album was recorded at Iron Maiden's Steve Harris's studio in Essex/UK. In the studio, the band was joined by Joe Lazarus (drums) and Tommy Gentry (guitar) to complete the line-up.<br/><br/>The album's twelve timeless songs show that Mogg has lost none of his artistic charisma, uniquely expressive voice and love of unbridled creativity.

Natt til ende is the last and final conclusion in the trilogy about the "night". This last chapter is my manifest of the final ending of christianity and death of "Jesus", in both physical and mental shape. Naturally this also lifts the idea and concept of forces christianity calls evil. The same forces I would call natural and human. They may be described as in a dream or in a more harsh speech. The idea that "god" lives on in, and through man, is to me repulsive, and this trilogy, and then this album is my perspective on how I see this should come to an end.
