1970-talet var musikmässigt "variationernas årtionde". I jämförelse med tidigare (och nog även senare) decennier - uppstod och utvecklades här en större mångfald gällande musikstilar. <br/><br/>Sverige var högst närvarande i denna utveckling. Det blandades friskt i det svenska musikutbudet av: disco, glamrock, progg, soul, funk, hårdrock, folkmusik, dansband, revival-rock'n'roll, singer-songwriter, punk, reggae, power-pop och mycket mera.<br/><br/>Via dubbel-CDn "SWEDISH ROCK & POP + Alternative 1970-1979" guidas vi runt av 40 legendariska artister - i det decennium där den musikaliska atmosfären både var levande och kreativ. Dreadzone member Bazil steps into the spotlight with his own debut album &lsquo;Sub Liminal&rsquo; featuring a collaboration with Dreadzone and vocals from Earl 16, MC Spee & Izness. His styles merge within the electronic genre infused with Dub and half speed Drum & Bass, blending a pallet of stripped back beats and big bass with electronic soundscapes and thought-provoking lyrics. Izness sets the scene with her vocals and dreamy rich tones. This album brings nostalgia from the post rave era with an edge of dubby darkness. With influences from Digital, Breakage, Calibre, Leftfield, Massive Attack, He walks his own path through new musical territory whilst remaining humble to where his sound developed in Drum & Bass and where he is now in Dreadzone.
