The new HARDLINE album 'Shout' sees the band helmed by American vocalist Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell, Crush 40) and his Italian team mates, keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio (Vanden Plas, Jorn), guitarist Luca Princiotta, bassist Anna Portalupi and drummer Marco Di Salvia, take up where their 1992 Melodic Rock masterpiece "Double Eclipse" left off.<br/>"Our current album features our typical choruses and the classic songwriting style of 'Double Eclipse', supported by a contemporary production and state-of-the-art sound. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, the breeding ground of Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed, Xorsist carry the city's Death Metal legacy with conviction. Rooted in the raw buzz saw tradition of early '90s Swedish Death Metal yet sharpened with modern bite, the band have steadily risen through the underground with "Deadly Possession" (2022) and "At the Somber Steps of Serenity" (2023). While their earlier recordings honored the path that defined the classic Stockholm sound, "Aberrations" marks a decisive step forward, eclipsing everything that came before it and presenting a clearer, more defined expression of the band's musical vision. With this new chapter, Xorsist continue to carry the Swedish Death Metal torch into darker territory!

Cult Scandinavian Folk Metal! Otyg's first demo recordings "Bergtagen" remastered from the original tapes! Before folk Metal turned into a gimmick, Otyg were already there; "Bergtagen" captures the band at its purest. Earthy, melodic, and deeply Scandinavian. No posturing, no plastic bombast. Just strong riffs, breathing rhythms, violin, jaw harp, and Vintersorg sounding raw, urgent, and serious. Though often called a demo, "Bergtagen" never felt like one. The songs are fully formed, memorable, and played with intent.

Otyg's debut full length "Älvefärd" sits at the quiet edge of Metal, where Folk, atmosphere, and melody matter more than weight. "Älvefärd" is built on restraint and feeling. Clean vocals, violin, mouth harp, sparse guitars, and songs that flow naturally rather than force themselves forward. "Älvefärd" is not an album about brutality or speed. It lives in mood, tradition, and sincerity. Vintersorg and Cia carry the music with strong, passionate vocal performances, grounded in a distinctly Scandinavian tone that feels honest and unpolished. Simple arrangements, but never empty. Every note serves the song. Remastered in 2025, this re issue enhances the clarity without stripping away the warmth and calm that define the record. The result is "Älvefärd" as it was always meant to sound. A cornerstone release for fans of Otyg, Vintersorg, and Folk Metal rooted in atmosphere rather than excess.

Cult Scandinavian Folk Metal! Otyg's demo recordings "Galdersång Till Bergfadern" remastered from the original tapes! The third and final Otyg demo stands as the last hushed whisper before the band stepped into the light. Recorded in 1997 and never officially released at the time, "Galdersång Till Bergfadern" laid the foundation for much of what would become "Älvefärd", several tracks were later re-recorded for that full-length. Here the melodies are ancient, the rhythms untamed, and the group already locked in on their own language of Scandinavian Folk and Metal. You can hear the roots of violin, flute and lute dancing with guitar and voice, all pushing forward into territory only Otyg could define. Remastered in 2025 by Vintersorg, this re-issue keeps the raw edge intact while giving the recordings the clarity they deserve.
