B. B. King died in February 2015 at the age of 89. He was a guitarist and singer who can be described without exaggeration as one of music's legends.<br/>Ten of his original albums make up this box and in addition there are some interesting bonus tracks for every blues fan. <br/>B. B. stands for his pseudonym "Beale Street Blues Boy", his guitar he named Lucille and they were an unbeatable duo that sold millions of records and took every noteworthy prize in the music business.<br/><br/>In all there were 70 singles and 25 albums he recorded for the Bihari brothers on their labels RPM, Crown and Kent, and they were sold exclusively in the black quarters of American cities. Between the years 1951 and 1992 he had 75 titles in the American R&B charts. <br/>Many fans will enjoy the rare1960 Crown LP, that King made with Duke Ellington's (the legendary jazz-pianist) orchestra, as well as the scarce 1962 LP "Twist with B. B. King", both included in this box.

"Everybody's Somebody's Fool", a successful hit recorded by Connie Francis could describe her own private life. She was married four times and suffered many blows at the hand of fate such as the loss of her voice, being raped, and the violent death of her brother. Even the musical career of Concetta Franconero, to use her real name, was long in gathering momentum until the hit "Who's sorry now?" came along and the neatly turned-out and charming Connie became a star with no airs and graces also in Europe. <br/><br/>We have put together in all 19 of her original albums and additional bonus songs in this box, which, sung in many languages, show the enormous versatility of America's greatest female pop-star. There are German versions of many of her songs, but she sang also duets with Peter Kraus as well as hits by Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, songs from musicals, Country songs, Twist songs and Jewish folk-songs. Few female singers were as versatile as Connie Francis. She was for the man in the street the embodiment of the star as very few artists in her line were, and was very successful outside the USA.<br/><br/>These ten CDs offer the opportunity to hear again many, many evergreens such as "Stupid Cupid", "Love Me Tender", O Sole Mio and Volare, to mention just a few. World-wide this singer with much polished sentimentality in her voice had several hundred chart successes and the best of these can be heard in this box.
