En pilot vid brittiska flygvapnet är fast i Afghanistan, där hon upptäcker en övergiven sovjetisk forskningsanläggning dold i bergen. Förföljd av upprorsmän råkar hon frigöra Ravagers - ett DNA-baserat experiment som tagit en fruktansvärd vändning.
