För att slippa tristessen, och en dag komma bort från sin hemstad, har de tre vännerna Rocky (Jane Levy), Alex (Dylan Minnette) och Money (Daniel Zovatto) begått en rad välplanerade inbrott. När de hör talas om att en blind man (Stephen Lang) bor ensam i ett ödsligt bostadsområde och har en förmögenhet undangömd i sitt hem, bestämmer de sig för att genomföra sin största och sista kupp. Men deras plan går skrämmande fel när de inser att deras måltavla inte var så harmlös som de trott.
