The Tales of Beatrix Potter är en brittisk balettfilm från 1971 i regi av Reginald Mills. Filmen handlar om de djurkaraktärer som skapades av Beatrix Potter. Dansare från Royal Ballet gestaltar djuren, vars koreografi skapades av Frederick Ashton. Beatrix Potter spelas av Erin Geraghty.<br/><br/>Filmen hade svensk premiär den 27 december 1974 som jullovsmatiné i TV2 och redan året därpå visades den på eftermiddagen dagen före julafton, något som senare blev något av en jultradition, även om filmen inledningsvis visades på olika datum under julen.

Julen framkallar inte mer än ett uppgivet "Äsch, bluff!" från Ebenezer Scrooge, en snåljåp som i sitt sökande efter rikedom förvandlats till en bitter och ensam gammal man.<br/>Men när han får besök av spöken från Svunna, Nutida och Kommande Jular på självaste julafton, lär han sig till slut att öppna sitt hjärta för julens budskap och glädje, bland familj och vänner.

Will she be the one to help him achieve his goal? Count Dracula (Niven) is the proprietor of a grand old castle of horrors which attracts plenty of wealthy tourists. The holidaymakers see only the grandeur of the castle and the facade of horror, but Dracula is in fact a vampire. While they sleep he examines them to determine whether any of them possess the specific, rare blood type he needs to revive his wife, who died decades ago.
