Collection of four films directed by Alfred Hitchcock. In 'Rear Window' (1954), after breaking his leg during a shoot, photo-journalist L.B. 'Jeff' Jeffries (James Stewart) is forced to spend a humid summer recuperating in his Greenwich Village apartment.<br/><br/>The wheelchair-bound Jeff whiles away his time observing his neighbours through a telephoto lens, bestowing them with nicknames and growing familiar with their daily routines. However, his society girlfriend Lisa (Grace Kelly) is exasperated and then alarmed when Jeff becomes obsessed with the notion that Lars Thorwald (Raymond Burr), who lives in the apartment opposite, has murdered his wife. In 'Psycho' (1960) Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) goes on the run after stealing $40,000 from one of her employer's clients.<br/><br/>Taking a wrong turn in a storm, she arrives at the isolated Bates Motel, run by the twitchy Norman (Anthony Perkins), who is constantly at the beck and call of his unseen mother. When Marion takes a shower in her room, a sudden knife attack brings her life to an end. Upon discovering her body Norman covers up the murder, but it is not long before Marion's sister and boyfriend are attempting to track her down.<br/><br/>In 'Vertigo' (1958), when his fear of heights indirectly causes the death of a colleague, San Francisco cop Scottie (Stewart) retires. He is subsequently hired by magnate Gavin Elster (Tom Helmore) to follow his wife, Madeleine (Kim Novak), as Elster says he fears for her life. Scottie becomes bewitched by Madeleine, falling in love with her after saving her from a suicide attempt.<br/><br/>However, when Scottie's vertigo prevents him saving Madeleine from a second attempt to kill herself, he becomes obsessed with recreating the dead woman's image. Finally, in 'The Birds' (1963), spoiled socialite Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren) pursues lawyer Mitch Brenner (Rod Taylor) to his Bodega Bay home after they meet in a bird shop. Melanie sails across the bay to deliver the gift of a lovebird to Mitch's young sister, only to be attacked by a gull on her way back.<br/><br/>Soon random attacks on humans are taking place all over Bodega, as birds of all varieties mass in their thousands overhead.

Tidlös medeltid. Tyrannen Cromwell engagerar en häxa för att väcka den onde häxmästaren Xusia från sin tusenåriga sömn. Assisterad av Xusias svartkonster skövlar Cromwell det idylliska kungariket Eh-Dan och mördar kungafamiljen. Dock lyckas prins Talon komma undan. Elva år förflyter och Talon kommer till Eh-Dans huvudstad tillsammans med sitt gäng av legosoldater. Han räddar den vackra Alana från några druckna soldater och hon ber honom att befria sin bror Mikah, som sitter i Cromwells fängelsehåla, och ansluta sig till rebellerna. Talon går med på detta för en natt med Alana. Cromwell intrigerar för att lägga under sig ytterligare fyra kungadömen och inviterar deras ledare till en stor fest. Talon lyckas befria Mikah och de andra rebellerna, men åker själv fast och spikas upp i bankettsalen. Under festligheterna är det meningen att Cromwell ska gifta sig med Alana. Den rasande Talon lyckas befria sig själv samtidigt som Mikah, fångarna och legosoldaterna invaderar salen. Under striden lyckas Alana, Cromwell och dennes närmaste rådgivare Machelli fly genom en tunnellabyrint. Cromwell skiljs från de andra. Det visar sig att Machelli egentligen är Xusia, vilken Cromwell försökt att döda, och som nu ruvar på hämnd. Talon och Cromwell dyker upp och den förre dödar Xusia med sitt specialsvärd.
