180 gram vinyl. Original artwork.<br/><br/>Led by the literate singer/songwriter Mike Scott, the group's sole constant member, The Waterboys formed in London in 1983. The band has played in a number of different styles, but most often their music can be described as a mix of Celtic folk music with rock and roll, or folk rock. <br/><br/>Fisherman's Blues was The Waterboys' best-selling album. It marked a change in the sound for the band, abandoning their earlier grandiose rock sound for a mixture of traditional Irish music, traditional Scottish music, country music and rock and roll. It contains the cover of a song by Van Morrison "Sweet Thing", originally from Morrison's 1968 album, Astral Weeks.

Mike Scott är tillbaka med The Waterboys och följer upp de kritikerhyllade albumen Modern Blues (2015) och Out Of All This Blue (2017) med vad som kan vara hans starkaste alster hitills.
