Muse is back with their seventh album "Drones".<br/><br/>Matt Bellamy said, "To me, 'Drones' are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behavior with no recourse. Det har gått ett helt decennium sen Muse första album "Showbiz" släpptes och mycket har hänt under vägens gång. De har fortsatt att jobba konstant, turnerat, jobbat i studion och gjort intervjuer, detta har nu lönat sig och Muse är ett av Europas största rockband i dagens läge. De har sålt över 8 miljoner album och samlat på sig inte minde än fem MTV music awards, fyra Q awards, sju (!) NME awards och även två Brit Awards. De har spelat på alla stora festivaler värda namnet i hela Europa och säljer slut alla stora arenor i hemlandet. Deras kommande Englands turné sålde ut nära 100 000 biljetter på några få minuter! Deras scenshow är fantastisk och fansen kan vänta sig flygande akrobater, stora ballonger och bandet upphöjda i luften, men mest av allt ett gäng riktigt bra rock/pop låtar! Sverige besöktes av Muse i oktober 2007 varvid Expressen delade ut en sällsynt 5/5 och skrev "I en och en halv timme framstår Muse som det perfekta rockbandet".<br/><br/>The Resistance spelades in i norra Italien, och bandet producerade alltså hela albumet själva. Mixandet gjordes av Mark "Spike" Stent! (Massive Attack, U2, Oasis). Albumet innehåller lite av allt rock, klassiskt, pop r´n´b i en härlig blandning signerat med den klassiska Muse stilen.

Continuing where Origin Of Muse left off, 'Muse Absolution XX Anniversary' edition features remastered audio, never before released live versions, demos, photos and an in-depth interview with the band where they discuss the ups and downs of the recording process as well as the social environment they found themselves in which influenced the album's themes. There is an additional interview and Q&A with Rich Costey.<br/><br/>The deluxe box set is housed in a silver foiled slipcase and includes a 40 page casebound book with debossed cover detailing. The remastered Absolution album is on one CD and two 12" silver vinyl. The bonus audio is featured on a second CD and a third clear 12" vinyl.
