The latest chapter in Columbia/Legacy's highly acclaimed Bob Dylan Bootleg Series takes a fresh look at Time Out of Mind, Dylan's mid-career masterpiece, celebrating the album and its enduring impact 25 years after its original release on September 30, 1997. Fragments - Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997): The Bootleg Series Vol.17 follows the evolution of songs written for the album, from intimate early incarnations in the previously unreleased 1996 Teatro sessions featuring Dylan (vocals, guitar, and piano), Daniel Lanois (guitar and organ), Tony Garnier (bass) and Tony Mangurian (drums and percussion) through incandescent live renditions (also previously unreleased) showcasing Dylan and his touring ensemble channeling the songs on-stage from 1998-2001.

Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, announce the forthcoming release of Bob Dylan - 1970, the first widely available pressing of a three-disc collection of long-sought-after studio recordings.<br/><br/>Bob Dylan - 1970 includes previously unreleased outtakes from the sessions that produced Self Portrait and New Morning as well as the complete May 1, 1970 studio recordings with George Harrison, which capture the pair performing together on nine tracks, including Dylan originals ("One Too Many Mornings," "Gates of Eden," "Mama, You Been On My Mind"), covers (the Everly Brothers' "All I Have to Do Is Dream," Carl Perkins' "Matchbox") and more.<br/><br/>Bob Dylan - 1970 comes housed in an 8-panel digipack featuring new cover art and liner notes by Michael Simmons.<br/><br/>ANNIVERSARY EDITION

This new triple CD set celebrates and details Dylan's lengthy and spectacular live career, and contains three previously unreleased live recordings from the 1970s and 1980s.<br/><br/>DISC ONE features Bob's show at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena, in Oakland, CA, on 11th February 1974, which he undertook with The Band, who had backed him too on '74's Planet Waves album.<br/><br/>DISC TWO comes from Dylan's infamous Rolling Thunder Revue, a tour which featured numerous musicians and collaborators. From the second, 1976 leg of the tour, this show from The Warehouse, in New Orleans, took place on 3rd May '76.<br/><br/>DISC THREE concludes this superb set with a 1986 concert featuring Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, recorded for live broadcast at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, in Minneapolis, MN, on 26th June '86.
