En megabox innehållande alla kända inspelningar från Bob Dylan omskrivna och kontroversiella turné 1966 i USA, Europa och Australien. En 36CD box samt med inspelningar från mixerbordet, CBS mobile recording och inspelningar från publiken. Massor av dessa inspelningar har inte givit ut på suspekta bootlegs. The original double album included 22 tracks, selected from the two shows Dylan played at the legendary Budokan hall in Tokyo on February 28 and March 1, 1978 during his first ever tour of Japan. Fast forward to 2006, when our Japanese office found the original multi-track tapes to both full shows in their archives. It's taken 17 long years since then but we are now finally getting ready to release all 58 songs from the two nights that were recorded in a fantastic new mix by the original engineer Tom Suzuki and with new artwork by the original art director Teruhisa Tajima. <br/><br/>All songs from the two shows Dylan played at the legendary Budokan hall in Tokyo on February 28 and March 1, 1978 during his first ever tour of Japan. All 58 songs from the two nights were recorded in a fantastic new mix by the original engineer Tom Suzuki and with new artwork by the original art director Teruhisa Tajima.<br/><br/>4-CD box set including 58 songs, 36 of which are previously unreleased. This will be a stunning 12x12 inch box set with a 60-page book including tons of unseen photography, a copy of the original 20-page tour book, ticket stub replicas, two posters and two facsimile print ads.<br/> <br/>Note: this release is not part of the Bootleg Series.

The latest chapter in Columbia/Legacy's highly acclaimed Bob Dylan Bootleg Series takes a fresh look at Time Out of Mind, Dylan's mid-career masterpiece, celebrating the album and its enduring impact 25 years after its original release on September 30, 1997. Fragments - Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997): The Bootleg Series Vol.17 follows the evolution of songs written for the album, from intimate early incarnations in the previously unreleased 1996 Teatro sessions featuring Dylan (vocals, guitar, and piano), Daniel Lanois (guitar and organ), Tony Garnier (bass) and Tony Mangurian (drums and percussion) through incandescent live renditions (also previously unreleased) showcasing Dylan and his touring ensemble channeling the songs on-stage from 1998-2001.

The latest chapter in Columbia/Legacy's highly acclaimed Bob Dylan Bootleg Series revisits an often-forgotten, rich vein in Dylan's vast and complex catalog, shining fresh light on the provocative new musical directions Dylan was taking as a songwriter and a recording artist from 1980 through 1985. In the early 1980s, while the music industry was grappling with the arrival of new trends and technology, from MTV to compact discs to digital recording, Bob Dylan was writing and recording new songs for a new decade, creating an essential new chapter in his studio catalog. Bob Dylan - Springtime In New York (1980-1985) celebrates the rich creative period surrounding Dylan's albums Shot Of Love, Infidels, and Empire Burlesque with previously unreleased outtakes, alternate takes, rehearsal recordings, live performances and more. <br/><br/>The deluxe 5CD edition of the album presents 57 rare Bob Dylan recordings, 54 of them previously unreleased in any format, from 1980-1985. The previously released cuts include two Shot Of Love outtakes: "Let It Be Me" (first released as B-side to "Heart of Mine" International 7" single) and "Don't Ever Take Yourself Away" (first released on Hawaii Five-O: Original Songs from the Television Series). A third previously released recording, "Death Is Not The End" (an Infidels outtake featuring Full Force) first appeared in an edited version on Down In The Groove and may now be heard for the first time in full on Bob Dylan - Springtime In New York (1980-1985).

Denna 6CD Deluxe box fokuserar på inspelningarna till de legendariska albumen in Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited och Blonde On Blonde, som kom att säkerställa Bob Dylans rykte som oöverträffad låtskrivare och artist. Boxen innehåller studio inspelningar som inte tidigare släppts. Såsom inte tidigare publicerade sånger, inspelningar från repetitioner samt alternativa tagningar från inspelningarna av albumen. Alla inspelningar överförda och mixade från originaltaperna.<br/><br/>The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 - Deluxe Edition låter oss för första gången to del av dessa eftersökta inspelningar. På 6CD finns ej tidigare presenterade Dylan sånger, inspelningar från repetitioner samt alternativa tagningar av hans välkända låtar och desssutom hela sessionen för "Like A Rolling Stone" samt mycket mer. <br/><br/>Den innehåller också en bok med hundratals unika och ej tidigare visade foton och memorabilia kommenterade av Bill Flanagan och Sean Wilentz.<br/><br/>Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited och dubbelalbumet Blonde On Blonde skrevs och spelades in under en period av 14 månader (från Januari1965 till Mars 1966) och betraktas allmänt som tre av de mest viktiga och inflytelserikaste albumen under 60-talets musikaliska guldålder. Dylan spelade in albumen med producenterna Tom Wilson (Bringing It All Back Home, "Like A Rolling Stone") i New York och Bob Johnston i New York (Highway 61 Revisited) and Nashville (Blonde On Blonde).

Denna gång fokuserar man på perioden 1979-1981 då Dylan blev kristen och släppte albumen Slow Train Coming (1979), Saved (1980) and Shot of Love (1981) samt på hans konserter under dessa år. Under dessa år då Dylan turnerade med ett supertajt band och gospelkör, var konserterna helt magiska men reaktionerna från publiken kunde dock variera. Mycket beroende på hans låtval som präglades av hans nyskrivna material.<br/><br/>För första gången kan vi ta del av 100 icke tidigare släppta live och studioinspelningar varav 14 ej tidigare utgivna sånger på 8CD. Boxen innehåller också den exklusiva DVD:n "Trouble No More: A Musical Film" - en ny långfilm från Dylans turné 1980.
