Depeche Mode's Strange/Strange Too (a much sought-after collection of music videos directed and filmed in Super 8 by Anton Corbijn) are compilations of the provocative and visionary short films created by master photographer/director Anton Corbijn, in collaboration with Depeche Mode, to create a new visual iconography for the band and their music.<br/> <br/>Available for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray and as a single collection, Strange/Strange Too presents 11 Anton Corbijn/Depeche Mode music films, newly restored from original Super 8mm sources, along with six never-before-seen outtake "vignettes" from the DM archives. In compiling the final montages for Strange and Strange Too, Corbijn created a visual sequence in which the individual video clips are seen as one continuous film, with additional intermediate clips not seen in the original clips.

Den 17 mars släpper Depeche Mode sitt 14:e studioalbum "Spirit" där bandet för första gången samarbetat med producenten James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Florence & The Machine och Arctic Monkeys). "Spirit" blir uppföljaren till Depeche Modes hyllade album "Delta Machine" från 2013 som nådde topp-5-placeringar i hela 26 länder och förstaplatsen i 12 länder.<br/><br/>Bandet följer upp albumreleasen med turnén "Global Spirit Tour" som har sin världsturnépremiär i Stockholm och Friends Arena den 5 maj 2017. På första delen av Global Spirit Tour kommer Dave Gahan, Martin Gore och Andy Fletcher spela för över 1,5 miljoner fans i 32 städer i 21 länder i Europa. Efter de Europeiska konserterna under sommaren 2017 kommer turnén ta sig vidare till Nord- och Sydamerika. Global Spirit Tour kommer bli bandets 18:e turné och innebär deras första livekonserter på över tre år. I november släppte Depeche Mode en fyra timmar lång DVD innehållande bandets alla banbrytande musikvideor. En uppskattad nostalgitripp som påminner om Depeche Modes storhet.<br/><br/>Med över 100 miljoner sålda album och efter att spelat inför 30 miljoner fans världen över är Depeche Mode ett av den moderna musikens mest inflytelserika och bäst säljande band genom tiderna. Martin Gore, Dave Gahan och Andy Fletcher bildade Depeche Mode år 1981 och otaliga artister har bandet som största inspirationskälla samtidigt som kritiker hyllar dem med ord som att de "blir mer och mer betydelsefulla ju mer tiden går".
