Foreigner är utan tvivel ett av de mest kända och bäst säljande banden inom den melodiösa hårdrocken. Med 80 miljoner sålda album och hits som "Cold As Ice", "Urgent", "Hot Blooded" och megahitten "I Wanna Know What Love Is" så har de en veritabel skattkista av odödliga hits.<br/><br/>På denna unika liveplatta möts dagens sättning av bandet med forna medlemmar, bland dom före detta sångaren Lou Gramm. Resultat blir ett helt fantastiskt möte mellan dagens Foreigner och de musiker som var med och formade bandet en gång i tiden. Alla hitsen framförs självklart och scenshowen är mycket påkostad. Som titeln antyder är albumet inspelat under bandets framträdande på SRF Med Erik Grönwall i spetsen levererar de fantastisk, melodiös hårdrock av den svenska skolan. Grönwalls scennärvaro och enastående röst komplementeras perfekt av detta sammansvetsade och begåvade gäng. Inför denna spelning satsade det extra mycket på pyroteknik, så detta är en fröjd också för ögat.<br/><br/>Bandet har varit ledande inom det som den engelska rockpressen kallat "The Swedish Wave" och har under det senaste årtiondet levererat ett stadigt flöde av melodiös hårdrock av världsklass. Frontmannen Erik Grönwall gick med i bandet efter att han vann Idol 2009. Han nominerades även förra året till en amerikansk Grammy för sin roll i NBC:s TV-sända musikal Jesus Christ Superstar. Andra som medverkade i denna uppsättning inkluderar John Legend och Alice Cooper.

Produced by Greg Fidelman with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the S&M2 live album captures more than two and a half hours of James, Lars, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo joining forces with the nearly 80-strong SF Symphony, legendary Musical Director of the orchestra Michael Tilson Thomas, and conductor Edwin Outwater. The concert film is a brand-new edit done by Joe Hutching (Through The Never) and both the audio and visuals have been taken to the next level from the October 2019 theatrical version that played in over 3,700 cinemas worldwide.
