All with bonus material.<br/><br/>After making his debut at a mere 17 years on Scorpions' first LP 'Lonesome Crow' in 1972, guitar maestro and mad axe-man Michael Schenker spent five years as lead guitarist with the inimitable UFO, before forming The Michael Schenker Group (MSG for short) with singer, Gary Barden, in 1979. With four studio albums and two live records under his belt between 1980 and 1984, Michael returned in 1987 with the 'Perfect Timing' album, fronted by former Grand Prix and Far Corporation singer, Robin McAuley, and a change of name to the McAuley Schenker Group - but still conveniently shortened to MSG. The new look MSG released a total of four albums between 1987 and 1992, starting with the melodic 'Perfect Timing' (1987), followed by 'Save Yourself' (1989), 'M.S.G.' (1992) and finally with 'Unplugged Live' (1992).<br/><br/>'Perfect Timing' features three singles; 'Love Is Not A Game', 'Follow The Night' and the US Hot 100 Hit 'Gimme Your Love', and is certainly the most melodic and AOR-friendly of this batch of albums. 'Save Yourself' followed in 1989. 1991's 'M.S.G.' was certainly a harder, grittier affair than the previous McAuley Schenker releases, and includes the single, 'Never Ending Nightmare'. The much harder, guitar-driven sound was possibly a reaction to grunge that was very much in vogue at the time, whereas 'Perfect Timing' was a good reflection of the more commercial, glam sounds and hair-metal that was the height of fashion in the mid-late 1980s.<br/><br/>Thanks in part to MTV's popular Unplugged series of TV broadcasts, albums and videos, going acoustic was certainly very much de rigueur in the early 1990s, which leads us to the fourth and last album in this collection; 1992's 'Unplugged Live'. As well as key McAuley Schenker songs, recorded live in Los Angeles in 1992, the album features three UFO classics; 'Natural Thing', 'Doctor Doctor' and 'Lights Out'. Neil Young continues his Official Release Series (ORS) with the next installment of four classic titles from the 1990s. ORS Vol 6: Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 collects HARVEST MOON, UNPLUGGED, SLEEPS WITH ANGELS and MIRROR BALL in the ongoing reissue series. <br/><br/>Each disc in the limited edition, numbered box sets will contain 4 albums with the original, historically accurate artwork and will be reissued on double vinyl LPs, while the CD box contains single CD sets per title. MIRROR BALL is an analog recording and the album has been remastered from the original analog masters by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Additionally, four of the tracks have been remixed by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. It included originals written in the 1980s as well as brand new songs, which quickly became fan favorites and one of the most beloved albums in Young's recorded output. <br/> <br/>UNPLUGGED (ORS Disc 27), originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's cannon. <br/> <br/>SLEEPS WITH ANGELS (ORS Disc 28), originally released in 1994, is an album that wrote its own legend when released. Including the 14-minute song "Change Your Mind" and "Unknown Legend," it had a distinctiveness with Crazy Horse that Young achieved by keeping the sessions as spontaneous and immediate as possible allowing the tracks to breathe and come to life in real time. SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was the last album to be produced by Neil's long-time collaborator David Briggs, who passed away in 1995 at age 51, which also brings a special meaning to these recordings. <br/> <br/>MIRROR BALL (ORS Disc 29), is a double-album originally released in 1995 and recorded with Pearl Jam. Considering the Seattle band was one of the prime movers of rock bands in the 1990s, it was an event immediately upon its release, and found a rabid, younger audience and inspired long-time fans alike with its inherent high energy. Songs like "I Am The Ocean," "Throw Your Hatred Down" helped impact so much of the second half of the 1990s. <br/> <br/>The OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 6 - DISCS 26, 27, 28 & 29 (ORS Vol 6) captures a large visceral part of the era, when Young was continuing his exploration of music with an unrelenting edge, in ways that he hadn't really done before. These four releases took him towards a new century, and anticipated some of the musical places he would soon explore. The songs also capture some of the massive changes that the 2000s would bring, and ways that music would take on challenges that are still very much being met.

The Power Station were a British-American 1980s/1990s rock and pop music supergroup originally formed in New York City and London in 1984. <br/>It was made up of singer Robert Palmer, former Chic drummer Tony Thompson, and Duran Duran members John Taylor and Andy Taylor.<br/><br/>The 4CD set comes in clamshell packaging with a 12 page booklet containing a brand new interview with John Taylor and Andy Taylor with esteemed music writer John Earls.
